I stepped on the scale. I lost some weight. So I am really glad. I had some of my veggie casserole yesterday, vegan spaghetti and a tofurkey sandwich. This morning, I've had mac'n cheese and a little bit of a pasta dish I made with chickpeas, green peas and mushrooms. I want to do more cooking today. Perhaps another round of spaghetti. I have vegan meatballs to use.

Today I had a couple servings of goldfish crackers, a couple Atkin shakes, a Mac and cheese pot pie, and a diet cherry Vanilla Coke. 1,210 calories and I am done eating for the day. This morning I did some grocery shopping for pickup and got all the usual stuff I eat.

I didn't do well this afternoon. I bought a cheesecake today and ended up eating half of it. I was stressed. It ended up being 720 calories. I still am under budget, but this is just not good.

You an me both. I had sushi - a Philly roll - and half a lemon meringue pie. oh - i didnt realize mrgreen looked so chipper! I just look kinda green!

It's been a week that I have stayed off the sugar snacks not eaten anything sugar laden and already I think I am losing weight.Well done me,keep it up!
Its a bit of a learning curve,at first I forgot that ketchup and other sauces have sugar in them so didn't stay off them but now am learning to eat burgers and fries without sauces and dips!

I feel like I've had a setback. But today, I am trying again. I was still under my calories yesterday. But I think it might be too many calories for me. Every app is different. I had too many sugars yesterday, so I messed it up. I have to keep my carbs down as well as my fats and calories. I think I am going to quit dieting. I'm only tracking right now cause my online therapist asked me to. I'll track 2 more days and quit. I just don't care to know.

Yeah i belong to WeightWatchers, but tracking is problematic for me. I start severely undereating then bingeing. Yesterday was messed up because i had to go to the dentist, so i couldnt follow my hunger signals and i was nervous. Today should be back to normal.

I am nervous to weigh myself because I’m losing very fast and although I do want to lose weight I’m not sure losing it this fast is a good sign. Food makes me sick so I just haven’t been eating a lot. I’ve just had a Twix bar so far today

I was a bit sick this morning,I think cos my sugars went high I didn't eat sugar snacks but drank alcohol and ate sauce with my burger last night and I had a turkey toastie and it had cranberry sauce in it and that has sugar,anyhow my reading was high,and I am trying to get it down again.My weight is doing ok cos I am eating normal amounts again and I'm not overeating.

Today I had a Coke from Sonic, an English muffin, an Atkins shake, a small mug of soup and a couple rice cakes. I’m getting Outback tonight and I’m going to have 2 lobster tails and save the fries and vegetables for tomorrow’s lunch. I was getting pretty hungry around 1:45 but I just waited for it to pass and I ate a rice cake. I can’t tell if I’m restricting today or just saving my calories for dinner. I have down 1,265 calories. I took a walk this morning and then I’ve been doing nonstop cleaning and just being really restless and unable to sit down all day. So I’ve probably burned a lot.

I ate almost an entire cheesecake last night. And lots of pasta too. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. Maybe I am stressed about the holiday. It's hard being alone. I will order Thai food today. I got all vegan stuff. So it shouldn't be too bad. I wish everyone a happy holiday! Happy, healthy good eats today!!

Found out that a Macdonalds and fries and kebab and chips have sugar in them,that's why my sugars went high,I was unaware of that and I ate it three days in a row,I won't be having it ever again,terrible!No wonder I couldn't control my sugars I thought I was staying off the sugar but both the burger and fries contain it!

My new cookies for the next month are from Natures Bakery - one is a whole wheat date brownie, the other is a soft strawberry granola bar tye thing. They are about 200 calories each, and have fiber.

Yesterday i ate those, and oranges, and sourdough bread and vegan cheese sandwiches with iceberg / burg? lettuce. And a coffee of course. I have fixins for one sandwich left.

I just had cheese sandwich,humus and olives for xmas lunch,not having a turkey dinner until the 27th december when my niece will be joining me,I've got shepherd's pie for dinner later.........

I had an English muffin and a bowl of steamed vegetables and a coffee with skim milk and Splenda so far. I am not very hungry so I plan on saving my calories for dinner. Dinner will be turkey and mashed potato’s. I am able to eat another English muffin and some goldfish as well if I want lunch or a snack. I have written down 1,170 calories for the day but it might be less because I didn’t finish all the vegetables.

Today I am just not very hungry. I’m not restricting on purpose.

My Thai food was very good. And it was healthy. Plenty of fresh vegetables. I think I will order more often. Another thing I discovered recently was a vegetarian bowl from a Mexican restaurant. That is healthy and tastes great. Maybe I will try to cook less and order more food. I did have plans to cook today, but I was too tired. I would be happy to never cook again. My Thai food is enough for 3 or 4 meals. I know I will do well just eating vegan.

Christmas day and I DID NOT stuff my face,I avoided overeating and did not have the usual chocolates,cakes,ice creme,desserts and a myraid of sugar laden treats I usually have at christmas,I ate my three meals and a bit of fruit,good for my sugar levels and weight control.I am happy with the control and exercised good judgement.I wanted a mince pie all day I did not have one I had a slice of buttered toast instead and that stopped me wanting the mince pie.I am also abstaining from alcohol and fruit juices and being strictly off of the sugar.For christmas I am doing quite well.Well done me!

My kitchen is clean, which it NEVER is, so i am making a dinner chicken soup - whole wheat penne, some canned chicken breast, some fresh cauliflower, and a couple of different chicken buillons.

The chicken soup was always my favorite part of holiday dinners, cuz my mother never let me eat breakfast. So i would be starving by 2 or 3!

For lunch i had 2 small russet potatoes with 3 bean salad.

Soup is okay - also, first time i am using my new heavyweight stainless silverware - it is great!

And i washed the dishes AFTER dinner. Who IS this person??! It feels really good.

My aunt (my mother's sister, the last of the 5 siblings) called me today. She is 24 days past a covid diagnosis. She has this thing since my mom passed where she likes to say i love you as she hangs up the phone. I used to go along, but you know what? Im not one of her son's ten American kids and partners and further offspring and stepchildren. I'm her sister's daughter, and... We. Never. Said. That.

And that's why I was able to be myself and take care of myself today.

Last night I had about 4oz of turkey and a scoop of mashed potato’s and a scoop of vegetables. On a small plate so it looked like a lot of food. Today I’ve had an English muffin, a small iced coffee a Diet Coke with cherry vanilla flavoring, and an Atkins shake. For dinner I plan on having 4oz of pork roast, another scoop of potatoes, and some Brussel sprouts. I’m going to have another English muffin whenever I’m in the mood. I have down 1,175 calories but I think it’s a little bit more which is why I’m low.

I had a legit dinner last night. 8oz of pork roast, mashed potato’s, and a dinner roll. So I was at 1,630 yesterday. Not a big deal. I probably needed to actually eat. Today I had a little bag of Doritos so far and a Mountain Dew. For lunch I’m going to have a little cup of Jif to go crunchy peanut butter, an English muffin, and an Atkins shake. For a snack I’m going to have a little bag of Skinny Pop Popcorn, and dinner will be 3 eggs done in the microwave. After 2 nights of meat, I just can’t do meat for a few days.

I gained a little bit of weight. But I'm back on track again with my eating. I threw away the stuff I didn't need to eat. So now I'm sticking with vegetables, grains and beans. I had black-eye peas, brown rice and vegetables this morning. I also had a bowl of oatmeal when I first woke up. I might try to cook vegan spaghetti today.
