I'm going to try and lose weight the healthy way. Did 20 minutes of HIIT and 15 minutes of stretching after this morning. Going for a walk once it gets above 0F out there (if it gets that warm). Current weight: 127lbs. Goal weight: 120. Had a protein bar and some oatmeal so far.

The unisom is out of my system so I dropped 3 pounds almost right away. I guess my low vitamin D may have also been a culprit too regarding my weight gain. I'm back to doing crunches. I did 100 regular crunches and then 70 reverse ones. I did 2 planks. One for about 20 seconds. One for barely 10. But at least I'm able to hold myself up now like that.

Did an hour long yoga class today, it went well. Yesterday I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, plus weights and squats with resistance bands

Cooked fresh asparagus and a piece of salmon for dinner yesterday. Was good. Trying to eat more vegetables. I have been having spring mix salads for lunch, with grape tomatoes, onion, avocado in it and some balsamic vinaigrette. (Sometimes I also add in a few pieces of sliced roast Turkey breast from the deli)
Occasionally I have protein smoothies usually when I’m really active or work out a lot during the day. So I put plain unsweetened almond milk, frozen mixed berries, spinach (can be fresh or frozen) , a very low sugar protein powder, and occasionally a couple spoonfuls of plain unsweetened Greek yogurt. There are various ones I do. Like sometimes I do mango banana spinach protein smoothies. Etc. depends what I have and what I’m in the mood for. Mango and butternut squash also goes well together in smoothies. Sounds weird but it doesn’t taste like you’re drinking vegetables or anything, it just tastes like mango and whatever flavor of protein powder. You also can’t taste the spinach in the smoothies I make even though I try to always put a lot in to get more servings of vegetables. Will post a pic of yesterdays dinner in a minute Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Today I had plain oatmeal with a little plain unsweetened almond milk in it, a handful of fresh blueberries and a banana sliced in it and half an avocado on the side
Lunch will be a salad, and a turkey sandwich on wheat Dinner is going to be a baked sweet potato, leftover asparagus, black beans Snack will be cottage cheese if I get hungry at some point in between my meals. I'm trying to lose weight by actually eating... I did some shopping yesterday and today. I got some acai bowls and some Lean Cuisines and Healthy Choice and Smart Ones frozen meals. I've had luck before with using frozen meals for weight loss. I just need to watch the sodium on those. I also stocked up on more Greek yogurt and got a couple pints of Halo Top. I really only need to lose about 8 pounds. Currently I'm pissing people off already with my food and weight issues. I hope my change in diet will make them somewhat happier.

Been doing 30 minutes on the treadmill nearly everyday and been doing yoga regularly as well , on the days I don’t do yoga I do weights and squats with resistance bands.
Been eating healthy, going grocery shopping tomorrow. Going to get some salmon, fresh veggies, (asparagus, Bella sliced mushrooms, yellow squash, onion, maybe also a head of broccoli) fruit (bananas and blueberries) skinless boneless chicken breast filets, and some other various stuff. Have my meals planned out for the next week. That sounds super healthy food planning bluebird!
I’m doing okayish, I’ve made great strides cutting down on processed food, no sweets or chocolate (I have an addiction I think and cold turkey is the only way - not actual turkey of course. ) I got the email saying I got a place in the half marathon which I was hoping I wouldn’t if I’m honest. Anyhow I’m going to give it a shot and I’ve got 7 months, currently running 4 miles max and need to build up to 13.1 without injuring myself. |

My weight is falling off due to a combination of this viral thing I've had for a month and the vitamin D supplement I'm taking that zaps my appetite. I think the low vitamin D may have been where my weight gain came from in the first place since the weight is comming off now without any effort. Either way I do need to eat better. Today wasn't bad quality wise.

Managed to lose one of the kgs I put on with this new med, that’s since I went sugar free for Lent. It’s not been too bad, as usual once I cut sugar I stop craving it. Also I just haven’t been snacking between meals, which means I get hungry, properly growly tummy hungry which is no bad thing. Before I was snacking so much I wasn’t feeling my hunger. It’s interesting to me.
Got myself some new running shoes as a treat, they’re really nice! Finding outdoor running tough with the cold winds at the moment though. Longing for Spring. |

I'm just maintaining but its better then gaining. I've been being weird with the timing of my meds lately. Today I was fine. I'm eating a lot of yogurt again though and not a whole bunch of legit meals. Tonight for dinner I had a can of reduced sodium soup

Well I managed to just about put the weight on that I lost the other week but lost a bit more somehow this week although not sure how exactly. My exercise actually dropped off with the snow and ice but we were having work done and I was very active carrying and moving a lot of stuff about so maybe that’s it idk.
Does anyone else have an area the fat makes straight for? For me it’s my thighs mostly - I need to try the exercise bike again, I got a cubby built for it in our new storage so no excuses. |

How’s everyone doing?
I had time from work which made exercise easier, so I have been jogging, and swimming, and walking. I somehow managed to put on a bit more weight despite being careful with food intake. I’m not eating sweet things at all or processed foods and even cut back on bread. I think it’s got to be meds related but it’s minimal and doesn’t show. I think I want to do some sort of strength training, but not sure exactly what. Does Pilates count? |

I'm really struggling with eating. Today I had a Pepsi, a string cheese, 2 jellos, and a pudding. I also had a flavored iced tea and a glass of orange Pedialyte. For dinner I plan on having some rice pudding. I'm at 885 calories but I have some strange bug so I don't feel like eating and I can't force myself to.

I put on some weight, it’s been hard because it’s hard to afford enough food so sometimes I go to food pantries to get me through the month since I’m on a fixed income and a lot of the stuff from there is unhealthy but it’s what I have so I end up eating it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

The only things I've had to eat today were a Fiber One bar and a small cup of rice pudding. I've had a can of coffee and a caramel iced latte and a bottle of blue raspberry pedialyte. Idk. I think I'm just lazy today. I'll figure it out though. I'm at 890 calories right now.

Okay, well, guess I will jump on this bandwagon again. Ever since I brought my new dog home, and my other dog rehabbing an injury, I stopped doing much exercise and was having a hard time getting my walks in. Then things got stressful and I resorted to junk food. I gained 15lbs and sprained my back last week. (It's better now, still a little painful at times.)
I've reworked my schedule and routine to prioritize getting exercise every day and a few intense workouts a week. And I've shopped and got all the healthy food I need to stay on target this week. Just have to take it one day, one meal at a time. I'm hoping to have taken off at least this 15lbs by my birthday, which is late this month. I did very well today. Will be under 1500 calories and I actually was very active, even got a yoga class in, which I had to modify a lot but felt like it really helped my back. I'm ready to do this for real now.
