Yes why does bad food taste good lol. Actually I’ve got chopped up pineapple in my fridge. I snack on it when I want something sweet to eat!

My old dentist, years ago, said that there was some uniquely useful benefit to pineapple juice. 🍍 Chunks are even better, I am sure. Curious what that singular benefit was

Do you buy pineapple chunks or chop a whole pineapple down yourself?

We have good weather here, which allows for walking in a weighted vest, but today I didn't because I suddenly experienced what subjectively felt like hypoglycemia. So I walked unburdened, both on errands and for exercise, and my step count is over 10k once again. I didn't do much else exercise -wise because I spent time on creative writing, saw my Dr (he is both an MD and a PsyD), got a haircut and did some shopping.

Tomorrow I plan to engage in structured exercise.

I cheated yesterday. I went to a store that has them readily chopped up! But it’s quite pricey that way. My regular store down the road does not chop them up, unfortunately. I’m going to google the benefits of eating pineapple you have me curious!

I eat fresh pineapple regularly in the summer, it contains bromelain which can aid healing, I ate lots when I was recovering from my fall earlier this year and my face wounds did heal quickly.

I’ve also heard it’s good for high cholesterol. Anyway it tastes amazing.

@Blueberrybook it ended up over 13 miles according to the app I’m using, so I just need to keep constant from now on.

I did an easy jog this morning, just over 7 mi. I wanted to go a bit longer but at the 7 mi mark, I saw a cat from a missing cat flyer someone had left at our door (cat was last seen on my road). I wanted to get home and call the number from the flyer to let the person know where I had seen the cat before it moved out of that area. Unfortunately, I just got voicemail, so I left a message; I hope they heard the message in time to go looking and hopefully find their cat. We have 3 cats and when any of them go missing (especially our cat Midnight), I know we all get anxious about it.

I’m so pleased with my numbers on the scale lately especially this morning. I’m now just ahead of my 4kg weight loss target my gp set me! I reached her goal. I think I’ve slowly reset my metabolism by eating VERY small portions consistently throughout the day. Yesterday I snacked on a hard boiled egg, 3 spoonful of yoghurt, of course pineapple and I ate chicken and avocado salad for lunch.

15 mins warm-up on the treadmill and then personal training. My neck and core are getting stronger! My trainer also give me kettlebell exercises now and I feel I have graduated into the next league. Somehow in my mind, a kettlebell is more serious than a pair of dumbbells.

I might walk more this evening to hit the 10k step count target. I am halfway now.

I mostly snacked today. But I couldnt eat dinner. Or much after noon. I ate some popcorn but it didn't work out so I knew eating anything else was a bad idea.

My BMI has gone from 32 to 27.2!

I’m so happy with that.

I will get it to under 25 and then call that my goal weight.

I am seriously lightheaded and a little nauseous, so I had to cut short my evening walk. 8k steps for today. Not too bad.

Congratulations Hitch! That’s good news about your BMI, quite some achievement.

Tart Cherry hope you feel better very soon.

I lengthened my shorter run this morning to 10k, it was cooler weather and it felt easier so I pushed the pace a little in a way I can’t on my very long runs. Still not using my watch to track but nice to know I’m running a bit faster with more ease and the training is getting results.

So... Cool Hand Luke is the patron saint / movie of GLP1 users? Your the 2nd person today i heard mention hard boiled eggs as the secret to their success

Beginning week 4. I had to go in sesrch of my ozempic delivery this morning (finally just texted fed ex and they re-delivered). Anyway i hadnt had coffee yet so i was getting sweaty and light headed, but the good news is i became aware i was walking without my "weighted cummerbund".

I only ate 2% less calories then last week according to the lose it app. I should cut my calories in half to see legit progress. Well, maybe just by 500 less calories. I did eat less fat, less cholestrol, less saturated fat, and I ate 21% less sodium then last week.

The app says I'll reach my goal by December 6th if I keep up on my goals.

Forgot my night meds last night and finally had to take them, practically passed out then. I did manage a gentle pilates video today.

I finally feel well, but boy, that episode lasted for a long time and I even experienced double vision! Like never before. I will message my neurologist about it.

Tonight I will take a walk wearing my 20-pounder, provided I continue feeling well.

I swear my jeans are looser on me. Especially around the bum area lol. Oh and the thigh area too! 12 kg weight loss is nothing short of hard work for me.

5 more kg to go then I’m at GOAL! Should be there in 6 weeks time. I’m so excited!

I walked with my friends and their dog, but not briskly. 6600 steps. I will now change into workouts clothes, out on the 20-lb vest, and go for a brisk walk to get to 10k.
