I will explain. I only wore my Oura ring during the bedroom activities. It didn't occur to me to wear the Orangetheory wristband that provided color-coding of cardio minutes. But now that you mentioned it, I will plan to wear the wristband next time.

Regarding the fireworks for the holiday, I got to see them when another suitor (with whom I do not engage in bedroom cardio) took me home from the airport on the night of July 4th. It was an unforgettable experience seeing fireworks on both sides of the highway

Does Tylenol PM make you hungry? I've eaten more then normal today but not really anything bad except a donut. I snacked on alot of almonds and cashews and I had a 4 piece nugget happy meal with a kids fry.

Total I ate around 1800 calories I think.

Ive been feeling like i am able to more easily squeeze past my side table on my way to the balcony door, and ive been noticing some nooks and crannies in my belly, so i measured my waist and it looks like its down 2 inches, so hooray ozempic. So far so good.

I may take my next dose a day early if it feels like the food noise is back. I really really really really really really really like not being so effing starving all the time. Its like it took up 80 pct of my effing brain.

I weighed myself with no winter clothes on. I’ve lost 3.7kg! Hooray! Just 300g to go in 2 weeks until I reach my gps target of 4kg. Didn’t think I’d be able to do it but looks like I will. Makes me motivated to eat a healthy tuna and beetroot salad for lunch today. I was thinking about adding corn but honestly I don’t need the carbs what for. Maybe a bit of feta cheese and some pumpkin seeds for good measure! So many delicious variations of salads I can do!

Hitch, i used to be "All about that carb!" but boy, not anymore! I just made half a packet of refried beans (8 oz) with 3 oz chicken and a bucket load of baby carrots. I usually bust my stomach trying to finish a whole packet. This totally helps the nausea.

Jogging went well this morning, did a 7 mi run with around a half mile walk to finish. Still doing those planks too. Not sure if I will jog tomorrow or do pilates as my last pilates day seemed to help my jogging a ton the next day. Pretty sure I need to be alternating jogging and pilates to get the benefits of both...My quads were still sore today from that squat series from the pilates video I did Saturday!

Unaluna, inches off the waist is great news! I think it is more important than losing lbs.

I had a personal training session. I pushed through despite being depressed and am now proud of myself. My neck is getting stronger.

I didnt eat after 11:30AM yesterday. I woke up around 2 to eat a small bag of pretzels and a small bag of popcorn. I ate 2 pieces of popcorn chicken from Sonic. But I'm not hungry yet I feel like I ate a ton.

You have mentioned this before. What is the reason for not eating in the afternoon? I understand the logic for not eating after 6 pm / close to bedtime / DURING bedtime, but i have never heard of this.

Just loss of appetite and increased pain. My GI says my MRI showed stuff I need surgery for.

I woke up dead tired this morning, like really, really tired. I'm not sure if I accidentally had 2 trazodone pills in my night container instead of one or if it's because it seems my period could decide to start over 2 weeks late. Well, I had some pink spotting this morning and nothing else so who knows? Anyway, I did a beginner yoga/pilates flow video from the Move with Nicole series, and a lot of it was hard! Probably not helped at all by my exhaustion. I hope I wake up feeling more energetic tomorrow. My period does tend to tire me out, but never this much, and I had 8.5 hr. of sleep last night.

I haven’t had a period since February. Thank you perimenopause because they’re really difficult to handle. I have such heavy periods. Like having to change everything each hour and wearing double protection. I’ve had scans and what not and there’s no underlying cause for my ridiculously heavy flow.

I warmed up for 15 minutes on a recumbent bike, had a personal training session and then spent 30 minutes on a recumbent elliptical with leg press on. I feel pleasantly tired. Less depression, too.

I only had 6 hours of net sleep last night, so I will stop here, not pushing more.

I went out aiming to run for over two hours this morning, good drink of water beforehand and an orange salt chew (they put so many flavourings in you can’t taste the salt), it said to take every 30 mins or so but you have to dissolve them in your mouth and it was kind of awkward and took ages to disintegrate so I spaced the timings out. I will have more water then some breakfast and hope I do better post run than last week.

Periods do definitely affect my energy too although they are not as heavy as in earlier peri menopause when I ended up anaemic. I think the lining can thicken, something to do with hormones. Late menopauses run in my family unfortunately.

I weighed myself when I got home at 8:30 and weirdly I was .4oz less then yesterday even though I had a couple small 2 pack graham crackers and a decent size cup of water.

I did chores at home while wearing a weighted vest. Now I will take a nap, then will go see a movie with my friend, and in the evening will go to the gym to do cardio.

The weighted vest is such a great tool. I multitask - I cook, for instance, and yet I also exercise and increase my bone density and muscle health. To remind myself that the weighted vest is available, I now keep it right next to my dining table. In sight, in mind!

I’m so pleased when I stand on the scale lately. I’ve lost nearly 12kg and my jeans are getting loose on me particularly around the bum and thighs. Still need to work on my stomach but it is going down. Definitely meet my gps weight loss goal of 4kg this month. I’m so pleased. 5kg to go until I’m at goal weight! Yeehaa. This is feeling so much more achievable!

I took a 4 mile walk this morning. Really had to slow things down b/c of accidentally taking my night meds twice last night...oops, that wouldn't have happened if my darn hormones hadn't left me so exhausted. Double dosing left me tierd (though less so than yesterday morning somehow?) and a bit dizzy. Probably should have stayed in and done pilates, but I had planned on doing pilates tomorrow b/c I have an early pdoc appt. then. I'll probably do the easiest video tomorrow; I woke up sore all over from doing the pilates/yoga flow beginner video yesterday morning!

@Crazy Hitch - Congrats on your weight loss!

I didn't go to the gym and I stead cooked and did laundry while wearing my 12 lb weighted vest.

Then I walked outside wearing the 20-pounder. My total step count today is over 10k

Well I did my gentle short recovery run okay this morning and once again this afternoon I was tired and ended up napping in my chair in the yard. I did drink a lot more yesterday, ate a bit extra too - oatcakes with peanut butter and sliced banana are my new favourite snack! So maybe long runs are just going to do this, I might try a slightly shorter long run next week, years ago I always used to scale back every 4th week of training.

@Discombobulated - It's impressive you made such a long run! How far did you end up running?

@Tart Cherry Jam - I don't do chores wearing a weighted vest, it would exhaust me. Certainly I couldn't walk outside in one these days unless I want a heat stroke! Hopefully, you have nicer weather than I have here!

I am still off balance from that med mixup the other night, hopefully, I'll start feeling better soon. This morning, I had an early pdoc appt., so I did a gentle pilates video, which did feel quite nice and of course I'm still doing planks.

Just injected my weekly dose of ozempic. Just a slight sting. Have to be careful this weekend. I’m taking my son out to dinner on Sunday night and I’m taking him for brunch in the mall on Monday. I usually eat half portions when we go out and keep the leftovers for lunch the next day. Don’t want to exceed my calorie allowance!

My wife's mom contributed dinner tonight. Salmon casserole. It was tasty. Did you know that each whole cashew is 10 calories? I ate a lot of nuts when I was avoiding carbs, but they do have calories. My primary care doctor replied to my inquiry about Eli Lilly's self pay journey which provides Mounjaro without involving medical insurance. He doesn't recommend it. He would rather refer me to the weight loss clinic. I'm going to have to go it alone. I did 4 miles on the stationary bike and lifted some weights today. Why does food taste so good?
