I'm doing great today! I've had a couple of days feeling positive about my body image which has been wonderful with my ED past

I was quite energetic this morning. I jogged some parts of my power walk. I probably ended up jogging just over a mile. I went pretty far in the end, around 8 mi total though I had to stop midway and come home to make sure H got up for work; it was also a good opportunity to drink some water! I sweat a LOT during these walks to the extent I usually lose around 2 lb. of water weight and that is after I have come in and downed most of a giant Yeti cup of water.

Of course, I did the plank practice too and I want to repeat that in the afternoon.

Sorry, Blueberrybook, that I was unclear. I addressed Crazy Hitch who talked about the bike and walking, but no strength training. Your planks and pilates provide plentiful strength training for lean musculature.

I forgot to take my night meds last night, and oh, I did not sleep well - chills, sweats, shaky, weak, nauseous. I got up at 3:30 AM and decided I wasn't fit to walk and did the easiest pilates video in the series I use. Even that was a bit of a trial. I actually felt so bad, I finally just took my night meds around 6:30 AM and fell asleep for about 4 hr. I feel much better now though geez, it makes one feel like an addict or something, and I don't take benzos or any scheduled IV meds! I think it's mainly missing the nightly Seroquel dose that does it. This morning I felt almost scary sick. It's crazy what these meds can do to you!

I haven't eaten much today. Just a couple grape peanut butter and jelly Lunchables.

I'm not sure on what I'll eat. I'm not very hungry. I don't plan on working out either.

Hope you’re feeling better soon Blueberry, rest is so important, don’t push yourself too hard.

I got just over 14.5km in this morning, it was a little blowy but from the South which at least made it less cold. My usual coastal route was cut short as they’re gradually moving the new cycleway closer to join the established one so it’s fenced off, it’s going to be great when it’s finished as the surface on the new footpaths will be smooth for running and walking. I added a bit more on the end to make up for the loss of coastal path. I’m really pleased with the progress and it felt comfortable (as much as running ever does).

I didn't eat much of anything yesterday so for breakfast I heated up 2 of these little microwave Campbells soups with Goldfish crackers in them. One was double noodle. The other was tomato. So I had a decent breakfast.

@Discombobulated That's a fantastic run! You are doing great!

I took my usual walk this morning, ugh, I'm not planning on forgetting my night meds any time soon again! I felt absolutely miserable yesterday! Did forearm planks as well.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing okay?

I did a little recovery run today and my legs felt tired after yesterday, it wasn’t windy though so that was a big plus. The air was very damp and humid though - yuck, so my sweat was just clinging to me, I don’t know how you cope with that blueberry or the heat.

I got my half marathon email to confirm my charity place with the event yesterday and set up my fundraising page too, so it feels very real now.

I am thinking of walking a 5k, but I have not registered since I am unsure that with the volatile sleep wake schedule I will wake up early enough on the day of the race. So I have decided to see how it goes and if I do wake up early enough, go and register just before the start. I probably won't get the t-shirt this way, but I won't waste money by registering in advance and then oversleeping, which has happened to me once with a different race

My weight was good today. I had 14 pretzels and a can of organic low sodium black beans for breakfast. So my protein is good and my sodium is low.

No clue on the rest of the day. My appetite is so weird lately.

I'm trying to switch over to iced tea instead of soda. I've been drinking Liquid Death lately, but I just ordered a few cases of Arizona iced tea and a case of lipton iced tea and another case of Liquid Death.

Just injected 1.7mg of Wegovy. This is the last month I’ll be on this high dose. It’s too expensive for me. I’ll get my gp to bring me back down to 1mg next month because it’s wayyyy cheaper and she can possibly swap the script for ozempic which is a fraction of the cost.

I did my walk today, but it is so much harder when the sun is out beating down; lately when I've walked it's been overcast in the early morning hours, which has helped so much. That was a tough walk today! I treated myself to a Starbucks mocha latte and feta, spinach & eggwhite wrap for breakfast, both for finishing a tough walk and also because I've had a lot of exercise these last few weeks; it's been close to 3 weeks since I had Starbucks, so I figured a treat was in order. Did planks as well.

@Crazy Hitch - You talked about adding exercise; have you tried that yet?

I walked for an hour today, but not briskly enough. Tomorrow will be another day.

My passes to the yoga studio where I used to go for Yin Yoga have all been used up. I have not bought a new set of passes because I am preparing to trim down expenses as I will be going on a disability leave and my disability benefits will be a fraction of my salary. I love this yoga studio and it is within a nice walking distance from my apartment, but I just can't justify an optional expense anymore. My gym has some yoga classes included in the membership and in the past I could not attend because they are held during working hours, but if I am on a medical leave, that would not be a blocker anymore.

I was down one lb today on the gym scale, and it was pee day and i hadnt pooped yet, so its definitely a lb of fat! Or muscle.

I could not get into the Uber Giganto or whatever it was, until i finally saw the handle on the side of the door (i went for my blood draw today). I got a regular size car ride home, and i told the lady driver, "i felt like those drunk girls on youtube trying to hop into the cop car butt first handcuffed - not again!" We laughed! Oh i was saying - i think im all achy from that. I need to not waste that start. So far my blood test results are pretty good.

I should reweigh myself tomorrow. I had beans for lunch and pineapple for dinner today, and the Detroit Dog (tofu pup with chili, onions, and mustard on a sinfully fluffy bun!) for breakfast at the vegan restaurant. Also a cup of real coffee with caramel oatmilk - it was soooo delish.

I had some honey wheat pretzels, some sweet potato chips, gluten free almond butter berry pretzels, and a cup of Annies Super protein mac and cheese.

I tried eating some soup but it didn't really work out. So I'm hungry right now and my options are Twizzlers or Swedish Fish.

Is Mac and cheese really healthy if you’re trying to lose weight? I find that unhealthy list triggering.

That’s a great start Hitch! Walking is one of the best exercises, low stress on your joints and will gradually build your strength. Do you have nice places to walk where you live?
Thanks for this!

Idk. It was organic mac and cheese with 15 grams of protein in the cup.

I'm sorry I triggered you I didnt mean to

I can't afford Wegovy the way you can so I'm just trying to deal on my own

I switched out my Belvita breakfast cookies for some Maria cookies, at like a third of the calories. Not as much volume, but the basic idea is still there. They are like digestives?

Anyway, with my first one i had a deja vu! I remember eating one, maybe at an aunts house, and saying i liked it. Well that was the last time i saw those cookies. Which puzzled me even then, because i knew they were light and simple. I think my parents just reflexively deprived me of stuff i consciously liked. That is a shorn synapse right there. My madeleines!

I remember those. They used to be under a $1 around 88 cents maybe, but I just looked at Walmart and they are now almost $1.50.

Yeah I have this vauge memory of being like 2 or 3 and eating them at my grandmas.

I walked this morning, around 8 mi. That was a hike! It was a different route, one I hadn't taken in a long time, and I forgot how long it was! I'm glad I started out early because the sun was not too bad yet. I burn like crazy if I'm not careful, even with sunscreen because I inevitably miss a few spots. Did forearm planks as well.

On amazon they have them packaged 4 in a little pack and that works for me - i will respect portion sizes. Problem is, a cellophane sleeve of cookies is a portion size!!
