I had an awesome Orangetheory session. On the treadmill, accumulated 5 splat points. Last time, I got 1, which was a breakthrough - the first splat point since the injury in the fall. Today I got 5 and for a brief moment even got into the Red zone at HR=149.

I also got plenty of green points, rowed for more than 1 km and did strength and stretching exercises. Felt pleasantly sweaty and tired. Am so happy that I can now walk fast and the hamstring doesn't hurt anymore. My fastest speed today was 4.1 mph.

I had a can of chicken noodle soup with the broth for breakfast instead of a protein bar and 2 Cokes or something. So it was only 260 calories instead of my normal 550-750 calories I have for breakfast.

Pilates this morning but because I woke up dizzy I struggled with the plank part at the end which normally is difficult for me but I can do it. However, my balance was so off, I was tumbling onto the mat. I think I made a mistake in my pill box with my night meds. Now I need to go back and look at them all which sucks because so many of them are little white pills you have to read the letters/numbers on and look up online.

Yin Yoga today. Some exercises were impossible for me today because my quads were seriously sore after Orangetheory last night. But the soreness felt good. I deserved the god feeling - I worked hard yesterday.

After a rest day yesterday I was a little nervous after last two slogs running earlier this week but I went out slowly and must’ve had a good pace because it felt okay, much better than last couple. I added a little bit more to my seafront stretch and a little loop at the end and that got me over 8k which is the furthest I’ve ran in a couple of years. I need to look at small increases for the half marathon in September.

Oh that sounds a real pain good you’ve caught that error with your meds though and hope you sort it soon!

I wasn't very hungry today. And I ate kinda crappy. I did stay hydrated with a lot of water at least.

I just ate a small bowl of deli mashed potatoes and a piece of rotissere chicken. So dinner was legit.

Did a 7 mile walk this morning and practiced planks & pushups. Pretty tired today, woke at 3 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. I also had to go to urgent care because yesterday I poked myself in the eye pretty good with a kitchen towel and this morning, my eye was hurting pretty bad. Still is, really. I scratched the conjuctiva and cornea, so they sent me to the pharmacy to get antibiotic eyedrops. I was going to wait until Monday to just see the eye doc, but I'm glad I didn't; the last thing I need is an infected eye.

This morning for breakfast I had a wafer chocolate bar, 2 Keebler cookies, a chicken leg, and a banana. It was 495 calories which isn't too bad. My weight isnt going anywhere.

I lost 2 pounds since yesterday from drinking so much water and not being very hungry. Buf I did wake up around midnight to eat 2 string cheese and a Kind protein bar.

Today has been good so far. I had a couple cookies and an Amys cheddar cheese burrito. Lunch will be a bowl of chocolate oat crunch Cheerios. Not sure on the rest of the day.

I finished the roterrise chicken from the other night. It lasted me 3 meals and had a lot of protein.

I took a shorter power walk this morning, well long enough, 4.5 miles and practiced pushups and the plank. Definitely playing music while doing a 1 minute plank is the way to go! That makes the time go much faster!

I did pilates this morning, pretty low key video until the end had a killer arm segment! Guess it's good for toning the arms though if you are really feeling it! Practiced pushups and the plank, still want to do that again in the afternoon. Crazy how a 1 min plank can made my breathing hard and have me craving a good drink of water afterwards!

Back to cold temperatures again today, it was above freezing but with wind chill it felt colder. I didn’t feel eager to run this morning but I decided I’d better, did my shorter 6k and it was surprisingly okay, although I was lucky the wind wasn’t in my face much, it did sleet part of the way around but blew over. It actually felt surprisingly invigorating although I’m home warming through now.
