I haven't eaten anything substantial today. I've just been snacking. I've had a busy day. Maybe this afternoon I can have a salad.

What is something I could start eating more of and type of meals to make, in order for me to start losing weight. I need some pointers here please. Thank you.


I just want to start eating lighter and staying off of heavy foods.

Hormones? Water weight? Dint you have something pretty salty - the instant ramen. Do you use the packets? Most ramen is like ONE pack is 1 or 2000 g sodium, which is a whole days allowance. Plus sometimes they say they are 2 servings per packet, so you think they are lower in sodium.

My rule of thumb is number of Calories = grams of Sodium. Fresh fruit and veg are very low sodium, so they give you leeway to go double or triple sodium on some food items during the day, but you dont want to go crazy with it. I dont really count, i just aim to eat some plain food when i do ramen.

No I use the packet to get the flavoring into the noodles but then I dump out the broth and just eat the noodles. I’m weird like that. I also eat instant Udon noodles which is 290 calories for the whole package. So I’m probably still getting a lot of sodium but not the whole 1600 milligrams.

I think it may just be change in meds and other stuff.

Today I had a couple iced lattes, a Coke, and a small thing of Jelly Beans. but then I also had a couple stuffed bagels, a string cheese and for dinner I had a steamed zucchini and 3oz of grilled chicken. So it wasn’t all bad today.

I took a picture of myself today. I look a lot smaller. And a lot more muscular then I did in the picture I took in February. I was wearing a hoodie today too. So the same amount of clothing. I hope I don’t get talked to by my therapist and psychiatrist when I see them in person. It may be a drastic change for them. Then again they are probably expecting one. I’m already getting questioned by my therapist about some stuff though.

So far today I’ve had about 720 calories. I plan on having half of a summer strawberry salad from Wendy’s and then maybe a sausage for dinner.

I lost my all or nothing mentality so I’m ok with going up to 1400 calories some day’s instead of being really strict with sticking to 1200 calories. but that just means I throw in an extra string cheese or two. Basically it just means I’m losing weight even more rapidly since I’m upping my calories a bit some days but not everyday.

I've been eating healthy and I'm feeling Okay. I think I lost a little bit of weight. The car steering wheel wasn't poking my stomach today. I just want to keep doing what I'm doing and working on the house. I see the back doctor in 2 weeks. Hopefully I can get an injection that will allow me to start walking.

I’ve had about 1260 calories today. 460 of them was ramen and a Mountain Dew at midnight. It’s always so confusing counting calories when I eat at that time. I had a big drink from Starbucks at 9AM and then I had a couple string cheeses, a Kind bar, a bottle of kombucha, and a bag of steamed Brussel sprouts right around the same time at 3PM. defiently not the best but at least I had some nutrition and I’m not hungry.

When your hungry just force yourself to eat a lot of vegetables before you eat anything else. It should help you not want to eat a lot of high calorie food. That’s what I had to do. Also good name brand string cheese would satisfy my cravings for like quesadillas and other cheesy foods. I also had to clean out my house of unhealthy stuff. So when I get hungry I basically have no choice but to eat vegetables or a granola bar. I do still have soda and a few packages of ramen but I have control over that. Moderation is key and do allow yourself a treat once in awhile.

I looooove the steam in bag frozen brussel sprouts. I have a small microwave, so if i do them a minute or 2 longer than it says, they almost brown up and they are sooo yummy. Plus they are so cute. But i went to a gf's house one time right after she steamed some fresh brussels sprouts, and boy her whole apartment just smelled like farts, i almost died laughing.

I had big salads the last two days. They were so good and filling. I want to buy more of them. I get the pre-made ones from the deli. Overall, I've been eating well. And I keep moving. Today I think I want to have beans and rice. Hope everyone is doing well with their weight loss.

I am going to make a fresh start with weight control.My doctor said I must focus on portion control and exercise more,so I will attempt this again.

Today my calories equal to right around 1200. I had a chipotles kids meal which was 670 calories and was actually a lot of food and only $5 too. I ate pretty healthy today I had a bag of sliced apples and I’m going to have some grilled chicken nuggets for dinner.

I ordered a chicken meal from McDonald's. I ate some of the fries. But I feel Okay. Not sluggish.

I had a Pepsi, an iced coffee, some grilled chicken nuggets, a small milk shake and an apple so far. I’m drinking a kombucha right now. I plan on having 3 more oz of chicken nuggets and a string cheese. 1270 calories.

I had a string cheese and a jerky stick at midnight. Half a bagel with a tablespoon of cream cheese for breakfast. An apple for a mid morning snack. The other half of the bagel with a tablespoon of cream cheese for lunch. I also had a medium iced pumpkin spice latte and a Coke. So far if the coffee is right I’m at 995 calories. I think I’ll just have some squash for dinner.

I think I'm doing Okay. I'm careful about what I eat. I'm also doing housework for exercise.

I lost 1.2 pounds since yesterday. I guess that will happen when you eat less then a thousand calories. Today my calories equal something to around 1200.

I think I'm doing well. The swelling in my legs and feet has gone down. Last night I snaked a lot. I'm not hungry this morning. I plan to do chores for exercise.

So fresh start for diet starts tomorrow,got back in a bad rut,eating foods I shouldn't.I am going to try eat low calorie,low carb,low fat.
Also I am intending to exercise twice a day.Wish me luck,hope I can completely change my lifestyle.

So far today I had half a bagel with a tablespoon of cream cheese and a pumpkin cream cold brew coffee from Starbucks. I plan on having an apple a string cheese and then some udon noodles.

My therapist is concerned and stuff but I don’t feel good physically half the time and it’s not hard to not eat when you feel like you have cancer. I wish she’d stop with the whole ED stuff. She even told me she may have to switch me over because she has no experience in that area. Yeah that seems a bit drastic.

I've been trying to eat well with salads and healthy food. Yet, I order McDonald's every day. I am getting the sugar free French Vanilla iced coffee. So that helps. But at home, my iced coffee has sugar from the mix packets. I'm addicted to iced coffee now. I haven't been cleaning house much (that's my exercise). I haven't been feeling well. Today is a better day, though. I think I can accomplish more and even walk a little.

I joined weight watchers online only yesterday. I was last on 38 weeks ago. I gained 2 lbs since then, so not bad.

Im doing green, even tho their quiz put me in blue! Most of my food is not fresh (my fridge is busted). Anyway, day one was right on point.

Im basically using ww to give myself permission to eat 3 real meals a day. Idky, but i'd been trying to just eat two, then filling up with SHNACKS!!! Not good. I have 32 daily points, 42 weeklies, 100 free foods - fruits and veg.
