Today my step count is only about 6k from walking slowly next to our complex, but my right foot is already starting to hurt and I will put Voltaren gel on it before going to bed. I think I know why it is hurting - indoors, I did a lot of walking in my Adidas recovery slides, which do not offer as nearly as much support as sneakers do, and that is causing flare-ups where I had a stress fracture in 2021 and 2022.
It is so much better to avoid injury than to deal with it's aftermaths. I kick myself for stupidly allowing that stress fracture by moving apartments in totally unsupportive shoes

I went out for my longer run this morning very early on (just before 6) and was just short of 17k, so I’m very happy I’m getting the miles in my legs and so far injury free which is the main thing. I’m looking forward to the day of the half marathon, it’s less than 3 months now. I’m doing my training in loops so I do a 10k loop and today I stuck my 7k route on, so I do the same inclines twice which is interesting (sometimes it feels harder second time but strangely not always).
I’ve just had a good glug of water and now it’s time for breakfast. |

I lost a couple pounds. My stomach was fine all night. I wonder it the fact the chili was homemade and didn't come processed in a can helped.
I plan on eating more chili with naan bread today. I had a protein shake and some zero sugar iced mocha for breakfast

I did a jog/walk of almost 8 mi today. The sun did get me in the end. It was hot! I drank so much water once I made it back home. I am going to have to start regularly routing my route through the park because there is a water fountain there, and I definitely need that!

I was out in the heat all morning doing stuff. I ate some of the rissoto I made yesterday, and an Oikos vanilla yogurt for lunch.
I'm not very hungry and I think it might be the heat. I do have some light stuff to eat including some watermelon I had some more of the turkey chili and a serving of Lesser Evil popcorn. I had some veggie chips and I'm going to have one last yogurt. That equals to around 1360 calories, 175 carbs, and 91 grams of protein. But its the sugar. Its only 68 grams today. Often I'm way over 100 grams before 6AM.

Went to Orangetheory fitness while having a low grade migraine.
34 Green minutes, 21 blue minutes on a combination of treadmill, rower, weight exercises, followed by really good stretches. As a side benefit, my migraine is almost gone!

I've lost 5 pounds since I started eating legit stuff insteasd of a bunch ofTwizzlers and also by switching to zero sugar iced coffee which has 90 calories vs the 250-390 in Dunkins or Starbucks drinks.
I'm going to try gouda grilled cheese sandwhiches today.

Recovery run this morning just for 30 mins or so my legs felt fatigued after yesterday’s long run so this will help hopefully. It’s getting warm out there already but nothing like your heat blueberry, I don’t know how you do it, good you’re keeping hydrated.

I made a turkey, brie cheese, and apricot jam sandwhich for lunch. It was really good. For breakfast I had watermelon and yogurt. Not sure on dinner. Maybe another sandwhich.

Still been doing really well with not binge eating and eating healthier and exercising. Plan on weighing myself on Sunday to see where I’m at then going forward just keep the weigh-ins to once a week on Sunday mornings

Rest day today but was working on what’s normally a day off so feel like I got a work out. It’s reading over 100f in our yard this afternoon so very hot, just dissuaded my son from going for a run.

I did a long walk/jog this morning, around 8.5 mi total. I started quite early thankfully or I never would have made it. As it was, it was still very hot. I am losing weight with jogging a bit, have to up my calorie intake as my BMI has fallen into the underweight category (though only just). I've started snacking on avocado toast to help with adding extra calories.
The weather here is hot too, 90F with a feels like temp of 100F right now. It's the humidity that makes things so miserable. Once we got a flat tire driving across Arizona on the way to visit my ILs in California, and I swear 110F in the desert didn't feel nearly as bad as 90F here with high humidity! The only blessing here is I don't have to reapply my moisturizer during the day; whenever we are in Southern California, my skin on my face just starts cracking from the dry air.

First day on ozempic. I took it as soon as it arrived! I think i am eating smaller meals, but i am still feeling a little too full when i stop. Its subtle but its there. I always clean my plate, so i need to put less on the plate. I can do that.
