I went for a 7.2 mi power walk this morning, practiced planks. Hard going because I didn't sleep well last night. @Discombobulated awesome trying out the planks I still find them hard!

I went to my primary for a physical. I lost 4 pounds since I was last there 3 or so weeks ago for another appointment.

I'm trying to eat today but I'm not hungry. I've only had 1,102 calories so far.

I've been busy today and not hungry either. I've had 733 calories. I don't feel weak or anything. Just not hungry. A side effect of the stuff I just started is loss of appetite. I'll figure out something.

Pilates this morning, more planks. Made it through another tough bridge and plank series. I haven't had to stop a beginner's video for being too hard for me in a long time, so that's a plus.

MD: Undereating slows your metabolism and then when you do start eating normally again, weight absolutely pours on. It was an absolute nightmare when I recovered from the worst bout of my ED. Took 6 months to 1 yr. for my metabolism to pick up and my body weight distribution to normalize. Best way to keep your metabolism up is eating regular meals and snacks the amount of calories you need whether you feel like you need to or not. Slowing your metabolism does you no favors, that's for sure!

Edit: Just found an awesome result from my plank practice...I can now actually do an honest-to-god real pushup again! Just one push-up, but hey! I probably haven't been able to do a pushup in over 10 years!!

That’s a great result blueberry with the push up! I need to motivate to do a plank a day but my motivation is low.

I can manage a run, those are auto pilot, and I listen to music and zone out. 5k this morning, tough into a Northern wind going out but easier going back.

I've had 1,120 caIories. I was out all day so I burned something. I'm not hungry or thirsty for much again. Not even zero sugar soda or water. I did do a fast because I thought I was going to get blood work done today. I fasted from 11PM to 8AM. Well maybe thats not really a fast. Idk.

I did my long power walk this morning, 7.2 mi and practiced the plank some more. You'd think the plank would start getting easier but if it has, I haven't noticed!

7k this morning, felt okay, energy was steady, although when I turned onto the sea front the wind hit me which was tough. Nice and calm on my return though.

Dared to weigh myself and thankfully lost the mystery kilogram I put on the other week. For running would possibly benefit from losing another kilo but hopefully it’ll come off easier in the spring.

Hope everyone is doing okay and keeping active.

I need to figure out some stuff. I'm somewhere around 650 calories. Not on purpose. I'm just not hungry. Yesterday I ended up eating 1,560 calories.

I did not do anything because I had low grade but long running migraines. If I feel better by the evening, I will go to my scheduled Orange theory session

Went to Orangetheory while having a low grade headache. Cardio on the treadmill relieved pain and strength training exacerbated it. Interesting observation.

I accumulated 1 Splat Point for the first time since my hamstring injury 4 months ago. 1 Splat Point is 1 minute with HR at 84% of the max. I hope I will continue earning them

I ended up eating around 1300 calories yesterday. I'm down 6 pounds in the last 3 or so weeks. If I drink soda it has to be zero sugar

I've had 260 calories for breakfast. I might add in a protein shake too.

I took my long 7.2 mi power walk this morning, had great energy almost felt I could jog some of it but I decided not to since I end up with so many frustrating injuries that take ages to heal when I run. Did some more plank practice; I try to practice planks twice in the morning, twice in the afternoon, one minute each time.

I i ended up eating like 20 wheat crackers
9 Triscuits
A graham cracker and a sunbutter cup
13 dill pickle pretzels
A bowl of microwave rice
A serving of mini rice cakes
And 2 servings of bunny graham crackers

So I feel pretty crappy right now. It was like 264 carbs. I planned my meals for tommorow and its a lot better.

I wonder now if when I feel crappy its legit physical from food and not because of anxiety?

I lost another pound. So thats 7 pounds total. I guess it could have been the coffee stalling my progress. But I cut out a lot more then just coffee.

I ate a cup of Jif To Go peanut butter with a graham cracker for breakfast. I'm going to get my crunches done while everyone is still sleeping.

Dewed, your not gonna like diabetes. Until you are diagnosed, you might find it easy to lose weight because you are "dumping sugar" in your urine. Metformin works against this because it helps your body process sugar, which means use it for energy, not just dump it, in which case if not used it gets turned to fat. Since i started insulin, my "easy" weight loss stopped immediately and i gained back weight. I am just trying to figure out what i can eat that satisfies hunger and my kitchen restraints and my not wanting to eat beef which makes my joints hurt. Its a pain.

And of course the need for cookies, coffee, and chocolate. My dad used to tell the story about his grandmother who had a stroke and was told to stop drinking wine. She did for a little while, then said life was not worth living without her wine and started drinking again. After which she lived a pretty long time, i dont remember.

Thats why I'm trying now to reverse it. You can reverse prediabetes before it turns into diabetes. I cut out cookies and chocolate in addtion to coffee.

You can definitely reverse prediabetes, although I think it’s something you need to work with a dietitian on. My mum did GI eating and she’s not developed diabetes despite being in the pre range 20 years ago.

I’ve struggled a bit this week mentally and ended up taking to my bed yesterday afternoon I was so exhausted. But this morning I got out for a run, it felt okay and I even got a bit more push towards the end, the air was damp though, not brilliant for breathing and my glasses steamed up. I felt better for the exercise though.

Graham crackers are cookies. Jes sayin, you are reporting a highly processed carbs diet, and you dont seem to realize that. I cringe every time you say you throw out the broth from your noodles - how is that a good thing? I know this is a pain. I share your efforts.

I started making homemade turkey soup with just turkey flavored water. Its very bland but it helps out with my GI issues.

I mean, I am losing weight and working out pretty much everyday. And I do work with a dietician who gave me a list of things I can eat.

So something I'm doing is working.
